But it's steward became greedy and resented the King. He desired a new kingdom for himself. And he took it by force.
Good turnout at Anacapa Brewing Co on Wed.night.There was some close positioning throughout, but 1st, 2nd, and 3rd were settled fairly early. It was just a matter of who would flinch the least.
ABC 123, Red 5, and SOAP! all had successful doubles in round 2 and held serve for the top places through the remainder of the game. After round 3, Red had a 1-pt lead and then dropped that point in the Guess Who round. This opened the door for ABC, who scored the highest of the round with 8, and Soap! with 6, as they moved into 1st & 2nd, respectively.
All 3 were perfect in round 5, but only ABC and Red dared the double, pushing Soap! back to 3rd. All maintained those places, nearly scoring identically the rest of the way. Here for the Drinks also had a good double in round 5, vaulting them up close to the conversation. However they needed to be flawless in 6 & 7 to overtake any of the top 3.
Great game this night! Congrats to ABC 123 for maintaining their stranglehold on 1st Place!
