RECAP

It was a pretty exciting night at T.Phillips Monrovia. Things were pretty competitive Thursday when 5 teams duked it out for the win. We had several teams of 2 and even a brave team of one, Emily, who arrived in round 3, and still managed to kick butt with a 12 fo the round and kept playing to the end. Everyone seemed to have a ton of fun, win or lose. Tom Bombadil gave this host a laugh in round 2 when they couldn't name all the supermodels but wrote, "Generic white girl #2" for their answer in the 5 slot. Round 3 was amazing, as every single team doubled down and got every answer right to get 12s across the board. Newcomers David & Lisa, team of 2, pulled out an impressive win, blowing away the competition with their mega brainiac skills and a 66 score, beating the 2nd place team by a whopping 8 points!
