WE WILL HAVE TRIVIA ON LABOR DAY, SEPTEMBER 5 AT THE USUAL TIME!

With 3 of the top 10 teams in the King Trivia rankings present at this trivia showdown, you know you've got to bring your best game. Whether that's double down strategy or specialized knowledge, Etiwanda Roadhouse on Monday nights means prime time trivia! After a grueling battle, Jury of Your Beers emerged victorious on the strength of their wine game. Not surprising, they also selected a bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon as their prize for the top spot. We're S.H.I.T.E. produced an excellent game, but fell just shy, taking home Eddie's Lemon Vodka for second, and Kim's Always Right took home third and some Peach Eddie's Vodka. Stay tuned to the recap page and we'll have an update on if there will be trivia next week, being Labor Day and all! Thanks to the Rachels behind the bar for some great libations and as always, Trivia ON!

QUIZ RECAP

It was a good first night hosting at the Etiwanda Roadhouse. A good crowd came out and even produced some witty banter! Knowledge of Geography and Canadian trivia came in handy for the first place team of Kim's Always Right, as they successfully doubled down for both of those rounds. The points kept shifting over the night, but Hail Hydra! came in 2nd thanks to Power Rangers and TMNT! Finally, Jury of Your Beers took a decisive 3rd place on the evening.

If you haven't had the chance to try the food out at Etiwanda Roadhouse, might I suggest the Pulled Pork Sandwich. It will be the most delicious thing that you put in your mouth this week. Come on out next week at 7 p.m. on Monday for some trivia, and stay for the food! Actually, come out for the food, and stay for the trivia. Fantastic folks, and make sure to say "HI!" to Rachel at the bar.

QUIZ RECAP

After nearly 2 years at the roadhouse, It was really hard to say goodbye.

I was greeted warmly, saw some old faces that I hadn't seen in a while, and got a really nice send off. The New Quizmaster is going to get a loving crowd that truly has a great time.

The drinking round was a repeat of the first ever drinking round I did at the Roadhouse, Paper Airplanes. Fitting that ST&T, my first ever team, were the ones to win it.

We're S.H.I.T.E proved they were anything but that tonight, dominating the number round and taking home the win.

I departed with the sounds of Frank Sinatra's My Way playing over the stereo... and I signed off with the Eighth Doctors parting words to Rose:

"You were fantastic. Absolutely Fantastic. And you know what? So was I."
