An absolutely packed house today at Pat's had the Trivial Pursuers take home 1st place, and nearly the drinking round.
Prime numbers was the game for the drinking round where Throw It in me Dumpah! outlasted the competition, while also narrowly taking on 2nd place. Newcomers Game Night Gang, which I called Game Night Gary for the first few rounds held there own but couldn't get in the top 3, while Scott's Tots was in a completely new seat to change their luck, but it wasn't meant to be. See you all next week!
Camp Mohawk a bit short-handed and point-ed, missed out on the top 2 prizes.

Camp Mohawk came out swinging again and really RKO'd the other teams tonight, taking 1st place, and the drinking round (a la state capitals).
Aussie wannabes Throw It in Me Dumpah! was a surprise 2nd place, especially to themselves, but really nailed the final round.
What didn't help was Smack My Mitch Up missing a challenging double in Round 7, which would have netted them second place if they didn't go for it all. Hey, go big or go home, right? They did go home.
Newcomers to trivia, but bar regs Above and Beyond the Hangover hung around to take 4th, and Scott's Tots was undermanned tonight but semi-happily took 5th. Go Hurricanes! See you all next week.

A fun and wildly competitive night at Pat's Cocktail Lounge with the most successful uses of the "Double or Nothing" that this Quizmaster has personally seen.
Camp Mowhawk started out in first place at the end of Round One and maintained that momentum throughout the game. Taking home the glory of first!
Those Bastards! were always close on the heels of Camp Mohawk, keeping them on their toes and took home 2nd place. Also despite their name, they are a very pleasant team and we had a great chat after the game.
The Einsteins unfortunately were met with many questions that were not about physics or the theory of relativity and took home 3rd, however, their energy was infectious.
Team Kling came in 4th and they are totally OK with that. Their numbers were smaller than those of the more seasoned teams and their fellow competitors gave nice round of supportive applause.
Overall the sense of comradery was very strong in Pat's this Monday!
