Brewcakes Thursday Trivia how I love you let me count the ways! We laughed, we cried, bonus rounds with free funnel cakes were had, Rural Jurors loves making me say Rural Juror . Brewkake made everyone giggle and then look around and see if anyone else was giggling too!
The game was close and everyone in the top spots were almost always one point away from one another, making the competition well matched. But it was The Hippocampuseseses (Hippocampusi, Hippopotamus, Hip, Hip Hop, Hip Hop Anonymous) that got 1st, followed closely by West Side Astoria, where those Neon Boobs at?, and in 3rd B of A... do they work there, does it stand for something else? The mysteries abound!

Now this is a story all about how
Trivia got flipped-turned upside down

I'll tell you how Balls became the winners at Brewcakes, not Bel-Air,
In West Downtown Redlands with brews and babes
Brewcakes is where I spend most Thursdays
Chillin' out maxin' relaxin' all cool
Proving that we all learned something in school
When a couple of teams that thought they weren’t good
Started winning rounds, double or nothings when they should,
Facts won at quarters, free funnel cakes were had,
Trivia is fun to play with your mom and dad.
5 Hoes got 3rd place, 2nd place was so near
Babe MD’s smarts were "Fresh", got them 2nd without fear
If anything I could say that this night was rare
Team Balls were the winners
Much more than a pair
I wrapped up with the trivia way past 7 or 8
And I yelled to the players, "Yo Hoes smell ya later."
I packed up my speakers
I was finally there

This Thursday marked day 2 in the first week of BREWCAKES LOCAL LEAGUE PLAY! It will be the top scoring team after 12 weeks of play, 12 scores will be counted, 1 team will win a badass Founders Brewery gift basket full of swagtasticness!
It was a grand showing and some grander playing from the trivia players of Brewcakes and it was anyone's game. There was a record number of double or nothings, no round went by without at least one team checking it often nearly the whole group. But there was one team that showed everyone up in the double or nothing category and that is Alternative Facts! They double or nothing'd every round had 0 points until the 4th round, double or nothing and got it in the 5th and then went back to their losing streak of earning 0 points in the 6th & 7th rounds. Hats off to you Facts, I like your style!
As for the rest of you fine southern ladies and gents, the game was a nailbiter as every team rotated in and out of out top spots, but it was Babe MD that took with win, with Scotty Doesn't Know in 2nd and in the 7th round they double or nothing'd got 20 and took home the bronze metal, California Drivers... Am I Right, now thats the green light when you need it!
