QUIZ RECAP

Well hello there! When did you get here?... As I was saying. This trivia master has decided to pick favorites each week it may not be a fair or wise and may seem to have no rhyme or reason but that's just because you aren't my favorite. Do better next time!

So trivia we had 10 teams all show to compete in the illustrious sport of King Trivia. And the lesson learned was set your goals at attainable levels and life is always a win for you. And no one was a better example of this than my favorite this week, the disgraceful, shameful, dishonorable, unworthy, inexcusable, unpardonable, unforgivable team, our PENULTIMATE team, The Deplorables. I've never seen second to last look so good!

Ok now all my other wonderful, gorgeous, well-behaved trivia players. The game was close but it was The Heat is On who took an early lead a team twice it's usual size, and they managed to hold tightly with the grip of a portly child and his last lollipop before fat-camp, they never let 1st go! It was a battle for 2nd and 3rd then and came down to Comey Don't Play That Game & We Be Jammin' who had to do a double (nearly triple, off by one zero) tie-breaking round! It was Jammin' who ended up taking the win with a guess of 150cm on the record breaking distance of goat horn spread (Comey was initially also going to guess 150 but switched at the last minute, 3 tie breakers is too many). Those 2 teams should join forces because clearly they are already sharing wonder-twin powers!

Shout out to all my regulars especially the ones who had a rough night! You are always winners in my heart! Balls!

QUIZ RECAP

Another beautiful week and another sporting Brewcakes game of trivia! The number of double or nothings attempted and achieved was record breaking, at least for this fresh faced trivia master. This week Scotty went from "not knowing" to not even showing up, his team was still able to secure the win. It wasn't easy though...

We ended our 7th round of trivia with a 3 way tie between (returned for some more did ya), Team Brass Tacks, a very sharp group of competitors and my personal favorite this week! Yeah I said it, I have a favorite this week... whatcha gonna do about it???

Anyhow back to the game. We ended in a 3 way tie between teacher's fav's, Brass Tacks, send a search party because, Scotty's Not Here and last weeks favorite, a team that very much believe's in more beer and more players, Broke Leg Mountain aka Neon Boobs.

The tie breaker came down to a matter of sugar cubes and a 6'10" tower. After many algorithms, tape measures and heated debates were had, answers were placed and all 3 teams were WAY OFF! But it was Scotty's Not Here who was the closest with guess of 141 sugar cubes, Brass Tacks, took second with a guess of 38,000 (and change) & last but never least Broke Leg Mountain placed 3rd with a guess well over 100,0000. And for those of you know don't know it takes 2,669 sugar cubes to build a 6'-10" tower... DUH! See you next week you trivia lovin' fools!

I want to begin by thanking everyone who couldn't make it. I had a lovely and relaxing game of trivia. We laughed, we cried and 3rd place tied! It was lovely to welcome the return of some players from many months ago Brass Tacks as well as a some regulars from a couple weeks ago you know who you are Neon Boobs (best boob color & I think you could use a few more people on your team) & Great White Buffalo. Buffalo being in near dead last the entire game made a game changing gamble along with montana politician body slam in a 6th round double or nothing, both teams won their 20 points but it was Buffalo who took the win! What a game changer! See you next week same bat time same bat channel!
