"Shawshank Redemption isn't one of Morgan Freeman's top 12 highest grossing movies!?" The shock reverberated around the whole restaurant this week at Locale 90. Round number 7 was all about Morgan Freeman's highest grossing films and it was a high stakes round that would decide the winners, and almost every team guessed Shawshank Redemption as one of his top 12. I was just as shocked as many of the teams and even more shocked to find out that Shawshank Redemption is not even in his top 20 highest grossing movies. In fact, Shawshank Redemption is his 38th highest grossing movie! And I suppose this shock was sort of the theme of trivia night as a whole this week at Locale 90. Teams went through many surprises as they rose and fell through the trivia ranks, but in the end three teams stood out and overcame all of the surprises. In first we had Don't Suck (who totally didn't suck), in second we had @ebomb4565, and in third was 20-20.
So next time you want your pizza with a free side of trivia surprises come to Locale 90 on a Thursday Night.

A fun night of KingTrivia at Locale90. Had 4 teams ready to go and have some fun. No Competition led from start to finish and truly lived up to their very clever name. In the 3rd round however we were joined by Phat Entrees who proceeded to jump right into contention.They gave the pack a run for their money and had they started in the first Round surely would have made a difference. They made it exciting by going for the double in the final round and had they nailed it would have come in 1st. But they missed and wound up in 4th.
There was a very fun family called Everything Is Awesome with a bunch of young ones who loved Iron Man and wanted to hold him. They came in 2nd but I took their picture with Iron Man anyway cause they were so darn cute. Extra Olives took 2nd and were solid throughout.

There was a very energetic group of young ones that wanted to play so bad they asked if I had a children's version 🙂 They were so cute and gave it a shot but gave up after round 3!
