Delicious, Authentic Neapolitan pizza, starters, salads and desserts with a fantastic list of local beers and a boutique selection of local and imported Italian wine. Located only a block from the beach in Hermosa Beach, this hip, local hang-out is the ideal setting for seaside happy hour, taking in the sunsets and great food.
So I took the baton from Quizmaster Lauren who handled opening night last week, thank you Lauren.
Well we started out with 5 teams a nice turnout for the 2nd time through. Wound up with 4 teams and had a fun evening. It was a 2 team race all the way through between War Dam Eagles and My Electric Vehicle. The turning point was the Guess Who round with War Dam Eagles nailing it on the 8 point clue and My Electric Vehicle chose not to answer which proved to be the difference.
A family of 5 joined us in Round 4 and called themselves Pizza Pirates! They wound up in 4th place but only by 1 point so I'm hoping they show up next week and make a run for the top spot, I'm sure they can do it. I posted their picture cause they were such a fun group.
In the end War Dam Eagle took first and we had a lot of fun.

For our inaugural night of Trivia at Locale 90 in Hermosa Beach, we had quite the family showdown! It was between a family 7 and a family of 5. Each team excelled in different rounds, keeping them neck and neck until the Guess Who? round, which pushed Texas Pnuts into the lead. They would continue to hold that lead through the final round, making them our 1st place winners! But Horned Frogs didn't go home empty-handed as they took home a second place prize. Each team were great sports and we had a wonderful family-friendly night of trivia. I encourage each of the teams to return next week for a family vs. family rematch!!
