About Spitz - Los Feliz

Founders Bryce Rademan and Robert Wicklund laid the groundwork for Spitz while studying at Occidental College in Los Angeles. Discovered while on a semester abroad in Spain, Rademan fell in love with Döner Kebab. It was sold on virtually every street corner and he was hooked. Upon arriving back in the US, Rademan immediately became infatuated with the idea of bringing Döner Kebab to L.A. In the spring of 2005 he teamed up with Wicklund and they ultimately opened their first location a mile from Occidental six months after graduating.

It was not an easy quiz this week, with precious few successful double-or-nothings. Even the Guess Who round didn't see any correct guesses until the 4th clue!

The high score of the game was 51 points by Quizzlers, who were partying it up at Spitz all evening, followed closely behind by A Horse With No Game in second and Werewolf Bar Mitzvah.

This week's quiz at Spitz was a spirited one! After a round 2 where most of the teams double-or-nothinged successfully, there were precious few double downs for the rest of the game!

At least, not successful ones... Plenty of teams learned what the "nothing" part of Double or Nothing meant.

In the final reckoning, Tastes Like Snozzberries paid tribute to Mr Wonka with a hard-fought victory, with Stab By Crabs placing yet again and Drunk In Love winning the tie-breaker question for 3rd!

After a week away, doing important super-secret stuff, Travis returned to Spitz this week to a huge energetic crowd and a pretty tough quiz!

The competition was fierce among the players, with the top 3 teams being only 3 points apart from each other!

Gingervitis won a pitcher of beer after being the first team in round 4 to correctly guess that the Guess Who person born in Houston and who won her first talent competition at age 7 was Beyoncé. 9 teams got that one after the first clue!

in the end, Gentle Sweaters won the quiz, beating out second place A Horse With No Game by only one point, who in turn beat Werewolf Bar Mitzvah by only 2 points!!  So close!
