QUIZ RECAP

It was oh so good to be back at The Federal only to have Boy Toy Toy Boats finally get me to slip up with their team name Six Sick Sleek Sicilian Swans. All teams were absolutely fantastic in a great, fun night of trivia. After a hard fought drinking round of "Did this show last longer than The Big Bang Theory?" almost all of our teams were in winning distance in Rounds 6 and 7!

The game was so close that two of our top teams ended in a tie at 66 points and were forced in to a tie-breaker round. I have a hunch that neither of our Top 2 teams are baseball fans as our winning team guessed that Pete Rose had 2,700 hits in his career (Official Homework for this week: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/3,000_hit_club)

QUIZ RECAP

I subbed at the Federal on Monday to an enthusiastic crowd of trivia players.

The game started off pretty close in the first 2 rounds.

US had the first double of the game in Round 3, putting them in the lead.

Terrence Jones and the Rockettes got the Who Am I round on the first question. They also should've doubled on Round 5, as they were the only team to get all answers correct.

Celibate Dad Bod doubled in Round 6, putting them in the lead ahead of US by 5 points.

After the final round, Celibate Dad Bod ended in first place. US ended in 2nd place, just one point ahead of Terrence Jones and the Rockettes.

For the drinking round we had a word search of US Presidents. The first team to find all the words won. There was a close call at the end when two teams were literally running to turn their sheets in, but in the end US won the drinking round.

This is a very late post. Bad Quizmaster! As an apology, I have uploaded a number of photos of Joe Biden giving a thumbs up. So many smart teams at The Federal! Terrence Jones and The Rockettes broke 100 points and Gazpacho almost had a comeback after missing the first round.This show was terrific as usual and I'll be back on the 8th for another high octane night of butt kicking trivia action!
