Holy moly! Let's get the elephant in the room out of the way...Invested, no Emotionally got 94 POINTS. All those double or nothings really paid off as they came out to an early lead and never looked back. Dirks Digglers and Trivial Pursuers ended up getting a tie but Dirk and his fellow Digglers inched it out by guessing closer in our tie breaker question. Curse the Gods and Inquizables 2 played along in the tie breaker round(just for fun) and both guessed that a bloomin onion had 2000 calories...the correct answer: 1950. Amazing guesses! Curse the gods won our intense round of heads or tails and earned themselves a free round of drinks, and Le Tongue guessed their own team name for "What is the French word for french kissing?" All in all, amazing teams and a fun night of trivia. Looking forward to seeing them all again this Monday at 8:30 at the Federal NoHo!

QUIZ RECAP
The Trivial Pursuers chased it, caught it and beat it into submission this week at The Federal in NoHo. And, of course, the "it" in question is trivia superiority, which they demonstrated by scoring an impressive 80 points to win the night.
The Spotted Richards didn't make it easy for 'em, coming in just five points off the lead with 75. The Duffmen rounded out our top three finishers with 73.
One thing this quizmaster really enjoys is when folks who are unfamiliar with the King Trivia approach to quizzing happen upon us, quickly catch on to what's what, and opt to join in the fun.
Such was the case with Dieglee and Jeff's Organ last night, who both showed up mid-game and jumped right in for the final three rounds. Their 24 and 18 point totals suggest they have what it takes to become trivia titans, and we hope you'll join us for a FULL slate of trivia excitement next time!
I want to thank quizmaster extraordinaire Kellie for taking a night off, which gave this guy an opportunity to meet some terrific people! Thanks for making me feel so welcome. And yes, yes! Kellie will be back next week. You should make plans to spend the evening with her!
