Two Mitchell themed teams came in to Bar Food
They had more than 8 friends they liked to include.

They swear he isn't a megalomaniac.

They grabbed an answer book and pen from Andy
Ordered some drinks, mostly beer and one brandy.
The teams began a friendly competition
Winning the top prize was both of their missions.
They were joined by other teams such as Sprinkles Comma Titty
Don't forget "Shave My Back" and "Show Me Your Kitties."

The rounds starting flying by, faster and faster
So many teams wanted to prove that they were the master.
In round five both Mitchell teams got a double
The bar should have known they were all in for trouble.
It all came down to round number seven
"Can you name all the lands in Disneyland, Kevin?"

The points were all added, King Trivia was over
Who is the winner? Everyone who isn't sober!

Everyone who knows you, sure must be wise.

Shots fired!! Tonight, our "Festive and Suggestive" team changed their team name in hopes of getting a rise out of the Dan Mitchell A Team.  That team name being: "More Like Dan BITCH-ell."  You see what they did there?  Pretty clever group.  Not clever enough to actually BEAT the Dan Mitchell A Team though.  (DJ Horn-DJ Horn-DJ Hooooorn) Ohhhh!!!!  That's right! I went there.

Not only did the Dan Mitchell A Team (pictured second) finish in the top three again, but they also made me look up current events to understand their team name... AGAIN!  "Dan Mitchell Freed the UCLA Basketball Players" was this week's Dan Mitchell evolution.  It's team names like this that keep me up to date with all the nonsense in the world.  Thank you for keeping me informed.

Our first place team tonight (pictured first) was Show Me your Kitties!  Their name may not teach me anything other than the fact that one of the members may have some kitties, but their trivia skills are top notch.  Shave My Back (pictured third) is a team that has been playing at BarFood for a while and I still don't know where their team name comes from.  I don't think I really want to know.  I DO know that they ended in third place tonight after a close battle with the aforementioned teams.  All team names aside, it is a lot of fun to see so many people come out on a Sunday night.  Besides: What's in a name? That which we call a team by any other name would win as much.

QUIZ RECAP

Thank you to all the teams that put up with my ghetto trivia books tonight.  I can't wait til my car is back from the shop so I can refill my supply.  Even with the unsightly trivia answer sheets, tonight was a fun competitive night!  We had a variety of teams playing with us, from a first date couple to a family affair.  It was great to see you all!

The top three teams tonight were "I Would Never Call Dan Mitchell Fat and Short," Show Me Your Kitties, and Lone Ranger.  The Dan Mitchell team (pictured) had a rough start, failing a double down in the second round.  Even though they got 0 points in that round, they some how came back at the very end with two successful double downs in a row!  Show Me Your Kitties was the leader the majority of the night until Dan Mitchell hit the second double.  They were super shocked to see Dan Mitchell sprinting up on them.  Show Me Your Kitties had an opportunity to keep their lead, they only had to check the double down box in round 6.  They got 10 out of 10 on the Superman matching, yet were not confident enough to risk the double or nothing.  It was this one decision that let Dan Mitchell jump ahead of them.  Meanwhile, Lone Ranger sat at the bar and calculated his odds of winning third place while the top two teams were distracted with one another.  Lone Ranger even registered his team at KingTrivia.com to insure he would get 3rd place.  It was a smart move that secured his $10 BarFood gift card.  Congratulations to all the winners as well as all the people who escaped their home this Sunday night.
