A three day weekend is the perfect time for Sunday night trivia! Lots of folks getting a head start on the holiday and had a great time discussing some of the lesser known facts about famous cannibals. Free drinks were given away in a special video game round and the fastest fingers proved victorious!

It was my first time hosting at Bar Food in quite a while, but it was a pleasure to be back! Glad to see so many teams coming out to end the week with an exciting quiz. We even 'Cruised' through a special bonus round trying to name as many Tom Cruise movies as possible. We almost exhausted the entire list leaving only War of the Worlds and Rock of Ages left unsaid, but team Shaken Not Stirred knew their Cruise the best and won some free drinks.

Mother's Day couldn't keep these six teams away from the glory that is King Trivia! The sad part was that no one brought their mom. Moms like trivia too, you guys! Especially the visual handout rounds when there are pictures of David Hasselhoff. Or is that just my mom? Anyway, Sunday night was a nice competitive game that saw the return of the infamous Eat Me, I'm a Danish! team (see picture). Rumor has it that these crazy kids all have been on Jeopardy! If that's true, it's no surprise they took home first place. It wasn't a total blow out though, with Titty Sprinkles nipping at their yeasty Danish heels. And let's not forget about team Catmandu. A team so creative, they needed to find a new way to write their team name on every answer sheet. My favorite was the pictorial representation of the "cat" the "man" and of course, "the dew."
