The reigning champion at Barfood has been dethroned! Eat Me, I'm a Danish! did not even place tonight! I couldn't believe my eyes! They can blame it all on Amazon Original Programming. They doubled down on the connection round in round 5, failing to know the short-lived Amazon original that had John Goodman playing a senator named Biggs. With so much content out there these days, it is just a matter of time until an obscure TV or film title will take ya down. I'm sorry Eat Me, I'm a Danish. At the same time, however, we welcomed a new winner: Go FOX Yourself (pictured)! They held the lead the entire night after doubling down successfully on the visual round. From there on, they played it smart and consistent, eventually doubling down again in round 5's connection round. If You Wanna Be My Lover You Gotta Get with Dan Mitchell did not let them win without a fight though. They sneaked up on them after their successful double in the 5th round.  If only France's winter Olympians were more successful ...Dan Mitchell's team would have walked away victorious. A lot of people bet their round 7 double on France and came up with a giant ZERO! ...Dan Mitchell walked away with second place though! Congrats to all teams for making it out on Father's Day!  Holy Guacamole, Batman! What a turn out at Barfood tonight! 19 teams! Way to go! It made for a very interesting match! 

Turkey Dinner started out strong (14 points!) with a successful double or nothing AND two bonus points for their registered team name. It wasn't until the 5th round that a clear leader would surpass Turkey Dinner as they failed to double that time ("A Year Without a Santa Claus" took down a lot of teams that round).  Eat Me, I'm a Danish, on the other hand, really know their claymations (and everything else apparently) as they doubled successfully and rode it out to first place and a $30 gift card to Barfood! The fight for 2nd and 3rd was real this time, too! Make Batman Keaton Again (pictured) played it real smart as they took a look at Mr. White Board (my makeshift scoreboard) and decided to not double down on the 7th and final round to avoid losing the 3rd place rank. It was a smart move because they only got 8 of the 10 African countries that the Nile River basin flows through, ultimately securing the 3rd place gift card for them! Mike Ocksmall received 2nd with an epic ride to the winner's circle. They started off with only 7 points in the first round, but kept their numbers growing steady until they took advantage of the 5th round by adding 20 points to their score. It was a very wild night! I hope to see everyone back next Sunday!
