About Fatte Albert's Pizza Co.

With over 30 years of restaurant experience between them, Steve and Wendy feel right at home in the pizza kitchen at Fatte Albert’s Pizza Company in downtown Hanford.  Just as Wendy grew up in her family’s pizzeria, their four children can be seen regularly hanging out at the downtown Hanford pizza shop sitting next to Dad as he hand rolls every fresh dough ball, or folding pizza boxes with Mom on the counter.

Born in Hanford and raised in local farming and agriculture communities, Steve and Wendy decided to make Hanford their home and felt that downtown Hanford was the perfect setting for what they had envisioned for the pizzeria they had long dreamed of.

With their kids in local schools and Steve a Marine Corps veteran, giving back to the community that gives so much to them is priority number one.  Shopping local and utilizing local produce, meats, cheese and dairy has always been important to the integrity of Fatte Albert’s Pizza Company.

As other pizza restaurants take short cuts with frozen dough balls, processed meats, cheeses and frozen veggies, we pay more and put more time and effort into our prep process which begins hours before we open our doors.  With that said keep in mind that we are not a fast food establishment.  Everything is made right when you order it, so sit back and enjoy an ice cold pint or a cream soda and watch your dough being hand-tossed and created into a pizza masterpiece from our family to yours!

It was a packed house for King Trivia at Fatte Alberts in Hanford.

The Meat Lovers came out of the gate with a successful double or nothing in Round #1. The Meat Lovers held the lead the entire game and took 1st Place. What's left of the Avengers tried their best to rally toward the end of the game but it was only enough for 2nd Place. The Queens held their own and came within 1 point of finally beating The Avengers. The Queens earned a rightful 3rd Place.

Our Bonus Beer round was called "We've got an order for one pizza with..." Where one member from each team came up and gave various pizza toppings including the previous persons order. This game saw hesitation and repeats eliminate the competition until only Crisco Butter Non-Stick Spray was the only flawless pizza order.

It was a rough night for many of the top teams. Pumps & Planes took the lead and never looked back ending in 1st Place. The Meat Lovers battled it out with What's Left of the Avengers for runner up. The Avengers self destructed in Round #5 after a failed double and it was The Meat Lovers who took their rightful 2nd Place. A Drinking Team with a Trivia Problem was back in the house and took a respectable 3rd Place.

The Bonus Round had one member from each team give a Presidential Campaign promise speech. The Meat Lovers and Pumps & Planes ended up in a tie. The tie break saw these two ladies have a good ol fashion beer chugging contest. In the end, it was the Meat Lovers who won the free pitcher of beer.

It was an All Hallows Eve edition of King Trivia at Fatte Alberts last night. Your Host Senior Jalapeno was replaced by none other than Rocky Balboa.

The questions were very Halloween based, yet for some reason several of the teams missed that and it cost them heavy on unsuccessful doubles.

Round #1 ended with a four way tie for 1st Place.

Round #2 we saw What's Left of the Avengers and Oh Jeez! Szechuan Sauce break away with successful doubles.

Round #3 had the Avengers and Szechuan Sauce still in a tie for 1st Place, but Crisco Non-Stick Butter Spray began to Catch up with a successful double.

Round #4 saw the Avengers guess the legendary Vincent Price and earn the 4 point clue. Only War Moose was able to guess the right answer at the 2 point clue, where the other teams all guessed wrong.

The Avengers held a dominating lead until Round #7 where Oh Geez! Szechuan Sauce got just enough correct answers and turned in extra pens to end in a tie. In the end, Szechuan Sauce got the tie breaker and 1st Place, leaving the Avengers in 2nd Place. 3rd Place went to Crisco Butter Non-Stick Spray, and 4th Place was Pumps & Planes. Both 3rd and 4th Place walked away with a special Halloween gift basket donated by Senior Jalepeno himself.

Tonight's Bonus round was the ever popular Halloween themed Survey Slam. The Avengers scored the highest score and took away the free pitcher of beer.
