About Fatte Albert's Pizza Co.

With over 30 years of restaurant experience between them, Steve and Wendy feel right at home in the pizza kitchen at Fatte Albert’s Pizza Company in downtown Hanford.  Just as Wendy grew up in her family’s pizzeria, their four children can be seen regularly hanging out at the downtown Hanford pizza shop sitting next to Dad as he hand rolls every fresh dough ball, or folding pizza boxes with Mom on the counter.

Born in Hanford and raised in local farming and agriculture communities, Steve and Wendy decided to make Hanford their home and felt that downtown Hanford was the perfect setting for what they had envisioned for the pizzeria they had long dreamed of.

With their kids in local schools and Steve a Marine Corps veteran, giving back to the community that gives so much to them is priority number one.  Shopping local and utilizing local produce, meats, cheese and dairy has always been important to the integrity of Fatte Albert’s Pizza Company.

As other pizza restaurants take short cuts with frozen dough balls, processed meats, cheeses and frozen veggies, we pay more and put more time and effort into our prep process which begins hours before we open our doors.  With that said keep in mind that we are not a fast food establishment.  Everything is made right when you order it, so sit back and enjoy an ice cold pint or a cream soda and watch your dough being hand-tossed and created into a pizza masterpiece from our family to yours!

"If you want Blood (You Got It)"......

Not only is it Quizmaster Senior Jalapeno's theme song, but It was the theme of last nights King Trivia Game at Fatte Alberts in Hanford.

What's left of the Avengers drew first blood and opened up the game with a successful double in round #1 and #2. The Avengers were not done there, they guessed the 8 point clue in Round #4. The Avengers another double in round #5 to secure their 1st Place win. Tastful SideBoob was back and showed a little rust but still managed to finish in 2nd Place. The Queens keep showing they are a team who will be a force in the games to come and finished at 3rd Place.

Survey Slam Bonus Round was back last night and as always I think I enjoy it the most. "Name a job for someone who has trouble focusing?" had the best answer of "Quizmaster" which had me and everyone rolling. In the end, Tastful SideBoob had the highest score and won the Free Pitcher of Beer.

Some people like to sit and sip wine and eat cheese. Well we here at Fatte Alberts love to Drink Beer, Eat Pizza and play King Trivia!

Wednesdays are always my favorite nights for great people and Trivia. eight teams came out and packed the house. All of them with the hopes of being the winners.

All the teams showed their respect for one another by playing very consistently in the opening round. War Moose decided to break out and went double in round 2 and took the lead. War Moose stomped out the competition with another double in Round 6 to take 1st Place. What's Left of the Avengers tried to catch up with a successful double in Round 3, but it was only good enough to take 2nd Place. A new team The Pretendables showed they will be a force in the games to come by taking 3rd Place.

The Bonus Round was a true test of Movie knowledge. One member from each team came up and your Host "Se?or Jalape?o himself acted it out and asked them to name the movie. In the end, What's Left of the Avengers won by showing they know their movies.

Wednesdays nights are reserved for King Trivia at Fatte Alberts in Hanford.

Last night we had 6 teams come out to test their knowledge and see who would reign supreme. The Donut Duo took the lead early in Round #2 with a. successful double. The Donut Duo held this lead and even managed to guess who in Round #4 at the 6-point clue. What's Left of the Avengers where right behind The Donut Duo until they guessed who at the 8-point clue and pulled off a successful double in round #6 to take the lead and end in 1st Place. The Donut Duo fished right behind them in 2nd Place. Shmoopies showed they can hang with the leaders and finished in 3rd Place.

Last Night we had the honor of playing Survey Slam for the Bonus round. So many groans and laughs were had when reading the answers. In the end What's Left of the Avengers managed to score the highest points and win the free pitcher of beer.
