Sara celebrated her 19th birthday while Lorraine was AWOL, gallivanting the globe and Deborah ran her buns off during an outrageous session of trivia this week at The Backdoor Bakery Cafe in Sunland/Tujunga.
(See what I did there? It's a bakery! And Deborah ran her BUNS off!. Oh man. I just crack myself up sometimes!)

It was an evening of trivia mirth and scorekeeping confusion this week at The Backdoor Bakery Cafe in Sunland Tujunga, when 3rd Place took second place and third place was up for grabs between Shana Maidelas and THAT Team!
And first place? Well, no confusion there, as Hodge Podge dominated the leaderboard and ended with 68.
There was no confusion whatsoever on the topic of warm food and the friendly atmosphere that pervades the Cafe every Wednesday evening. Come see for yourself. We'll be back at it next week!

It was an evening fraught with tension and excitement this week at The Backdoor Bakery Cafe in Sunland Tujunga, as two tough, tenacious teams - Hodge Podge and Shana Maidelas - gave it their all in a head-to-head contest of trivia titans!
In the end, when the dust had settled and the blood had dried, it was Hodge Podge for the win, with a tremendous total of 81 points. And, not surprisingly, it was a successful double-or-nothing in the final round that put the Hodgers over the top, while the always formidable (but sometimes timid) Maidelas provided a perfect ten answers but did not double in the decisive final round.
