It was a hot happenin night at the ol' Lion n Crown, yall! But let's be real, we had some sports for some added value. GAME 7 of the NBA Finals! But I have to be honest, we all know our humble abode is indeed a hockey abode. So many jerseys to celebrate a new champ in the country! There was some hot gamblers on the double or nothing, but it didn't always pan out for them, Cotton. But our newest additions, Sara and Kate crushed their tie breaker making their first night with us one to remember. Come back and see us, ya hear?!

Heck yes for the NHL Stanley cup finals! It was Bruins vs Blues and it looks like our house was a Bruins house! The energy mustve made everyone smarter, because our teams CRUSHED round 6. They really know their music!

My goodness, BlimpBisket ran away with the night, scoring a whopping 97 points, doubling down four times during the match, and they only missed one of the last round (not doubled down). That's how you score a lot of points, and win. Of course, you gotta get them all right to make it pay off. Second place, "I got nothing" wasn't all that far behind with 82, considering. "Where's Daddy" finished third with 66

Now for some guilty confession on the part of the Quizmaster. He/I messed up. Have to adjust some scores. In a not so rare moment of clarity when tallying the scores QMJohn did not pay close attention to the double or nothing box, so when later, the scores were reviewed, it was noticed that QJ gave three teams double-or-nothing on the first question when they did not check the box. Seems like most teams did go double-or-nothing and got all correct, but three teams that did get them all correct did not check the box, so instead of 16, they should have 8. FORTUNATELY, this did not impact the three top teams, only impacted some other teams who switched places in the final reckoning. "We Drink and We Know Things" actually finished fourth with 59, and "I Thought this was speed dating" drops to fifth. Trade Wars finishes ahead of the Fighty Mucks as well. So there! Apologies.

Tough Find the Connection round, but several teams did! It was a toughie--the color black filtering through all of the answers. The question writers must watch and awful lot of cable tv to come up with those questions....

Four teams dropped out early, so let's hear it anyway for Sheninagans, Snuggy Deluxe, Wild Rover, and Your'e a Quizzard Harry. And for sticking it out to the end, "And the Winner Is"--I forgot to tell them that this is not like golf, low score does not win!
