I've said it before but I'll say it again, louder for those fellow Quizmasters in the back......THE LION AND CROWN HAS THE BEST PATRONS EVER. Talk about loyalty. Some back story.....
This weekend is THE busiest weekend in the vacinity, hands down. The cities annual Octoberfest is literally outside of the the L&C's front steps, the street is blocked off, parking is paid. You'd think that would deter some folks from joining our usual game. WRONG.
It has been raining every day this week. It's pouring the entire hour leading up to our game. You'd think this would encourage some peeps to stay home. WRONG.
Our folks trudged through the rain. through the road closures. Through the crazy parking situation. through the crowds. and were ready to play some freaking trivia. That is dedication. That is loyalty. Wooo!
