1. Despite going up against a must-win playoff hockey game for the San Jose Sharks, a few dedicated teams came out to Slug It Out for trivia Supremacy in San Jose on Tuesday night. Perennial trivia juggernaut Ask My Balls, after 4 weeks of being off the podium, roared back into Championship form by merely getting a perfect game, with doubles. They only missed a single question in round 7, which cost them 20 points, but they still won handily. The Drs Are In sought to three-peat but had to settle for second after that crazy game.

9 teams came out to do the trivia tango on Tuesday, with last week's champs, The Drs Are In, repeating their impressive win last week with top honors this week. They saw their chance to score big points and doubled up on a round identifying lab equipment, a round uniquely suited to their scientific skillset. However, the team "Ladies" playing this week without the tramps, knocked it out of the park when they answered a question about deep dark mythological abysses with "Poseidon's Hole." Best answer in weeks!

It was a Tuesday night barnburner of trivia in San Jose at The Fountainhead! It doesn't get any closer than this: first, second, and third place, all separated by a single point. Three tough teams traded the lead all night long, but by the end of it thanks to savvy doubling up and knowledge about a certain French opera dweller, the big brains of the Drs Are In ran away with top honors tonight.
