A big shake-up at Fountainhead trivia as the defending champs, Ask My Balls, went for the double or nothing into rounds and didn't get either. In addition to their snafu, longtime contenders Ladies & the Tramps stepped their game up big time and hit three perfect back-to-back rounds, two of which they doubled up on. After a performance like that, there was no catching the first-place team, but the Lady Doctors took home a respectable second, and Twinpossible snagged third once more. Pumpkin spice and cut-throat competition are both in the air in San Jose on Tuesday nights!

There may have been a slight Fall chill in the air, but Fountainhead trivia was hotter than ever as 7 teams duked it out for bragging rights and alcohol in San Jose on Tuesday Night. Ask My Balls was able to fend off a late challenge from the robot overlords of Automating America and the sweet 70s sounds of Twinpossible. Lady Doctors added a gent (Ben!) but were just off the podium tonight, and new team the Trivia Troopers made a valiant first effort, but by their own admission knew nothing about college football.

A tight five teams slugged it out for trivia dominance on Tuesday night at The Fountainhead. This week, the Guess Who round was the linchpin, with several teams pulling the trigger a little too soon and not only missing out on points for the round, but losing a costly point in the final tally. The patience of Ask My Balls paid off when they held onto their lead, and then they cemented the win with a double or nothing dunk in round 7. Automating America is setting itself up as a perennial contender, though, and the Ladies & the Tramps are back in business after a disappointing previous showing. Even as the weather starts to cool, trivia still hot at The Fountainhead!
