A sultry Tuesday evening brought with it electrifying trivia. Teams went all-in on the double-or-nothing rounds, after strong showings from a powerhouse Ask My Balls in round 3, teams started deploying their own double-or-nothings to varying degrees of success. The top tree teams kept it competitive, with differences coming down to who felt more confident about their answers to risk it all, while the bottom three teams were maybe a little too confident in their answers, getting the goose-egg on a few rounds. Gone are the days where just answering the questions correctly places a team at the top of the table; if you want to win at Fountainhead, you've got to bring nerves of steel, too!

Geroge Washington's Carvers came in hot to win this round of July 3rd Pre-Independence Trivia! A star-spangled game tonight saw plenty of lead changes and the debut of our first Guess Where Round through the leaderboard for a loop. GWC held on to a lead after the midpoint and won an exceptionally tight game, with the top three spots separated by 3 points total.

Latin Insanity at the Fountainhead on Tuesday night. So many teams cleaned up on the Cartoon Cad Picture Round only to blow it all on the handout round. Ask My Balls, the defending champs were at full strength, but still got toppled by the increasingly powerful snake-like might of the Black Mambas, who kept constricting the opposition until they took the gold. Strong performances all around on Round 7, and a tiebreaker for third kept the pace of the game breakneck until the bitter end. Great trivia on a hot summer night!
