Great to be back at Barney's Beanery in Santa Monica this week! Teams were awesome as usual, with Benny Q taking the lead over Brady's Tears in round #6 to win first!

So, this couple in the picture did not win trivia tonight. They also didn't play trivia tonight. No, they were from Germany and thought that we were doing a live HQ trivia event and that I was the host on the app - despite the fact that I don't have facial hair or go on talking for 10 minutes when everyone just wants to hear me read the questions. They were very excited even as I tried to tell them how wrong they were.
"We just wanted to meet celebrity here in California" the woman exclaimed to me happily, wearing a Harry Potter shirt.
It's just really too bad that she didn't notice the guy who was sitting next to her, on the same side of the booth, playing trivia. That guy?
