QUIZ RECAP
It was a low scoring affair tonight as there were some tricky questions that ruined a many a double. It was a difficult game, but that doesn't mean that victory was any less sweet.
You're a Bannchod found themselves toward the front of the pack for most of the game. They played conservatively as their only successful double was well timed in round 6 & also acted as a recovery from their -1 in round 4. This was enough to insure their 3rd place finish, but sadly they were only a point away from forcing a tie. That's how it goes sometimes & they take the bronze!
Stay at Home Dads also wisely played conservative this game, doubling in the same round as You're a Baanchod (round 6). They hang on to their 2nd place position by the skin of their teeth, finishing a point ahead of their rivals, You're a Baanchod. If there was a way they could've got 2 more points, they would've forced a tie for 1st, but alas, it was not meant to be as they take the silver!
2 The 2 Nun found themselves in a dire situation, but they stayed patient & didn't give up, & as it turns out they were greatly rewarded for it. They started the game out with a double, but immediately they fell into the trap of failing on doubles because of tricky questions twice in a row. They kept going & showed life in round 4 with a score of 8. Their biggest moment came in round 6 where they threw themselves into the lead with a successful double! Their lead was barely enough as this was a very close game (The top 3 teams being separated by just 4 points), but it is a mission accomplished as the take the gold, becoming the champions of the night!

QUIZ RECAP
Lots of teams were afraid to double tonight as indicated by the large number of perfect rounds, some teams seized the opportunities however & were greatly rewarded for it!
Storm's A Coming did a little of both with a successful double & a perfect round. Their one double in round 5 threw them into 3rd where they would remain for the rest of the game, it would've been a different story if they doubled their perfect round in round 6. They finish in 3rd, taking the bronze!
Prem's F***ing Late started the game off with a successful double & they get another one in round 3. They could've had 2 more doubles with perfect rounds in round 2 & 6. If they did do that, they would have been the champions of the night, but, alas, it was not to be as they finish in 2nd, taking the silver.
Bed, Bath, & Beyonce had an stupendous game! They had the most doubles in the game at 3 & were already in the lead when they doubled in round 6, running away with the game! They take the gold & are the champions of the night!

This was one of those games where aggressiveness was rewarded with our top 2 teams attempting to double 3 times & also one of those games with a very difficult round 4 as more than half the teams had an incorrect guess.
Dilldozer started the game off with an impressive recovery. Their sub par 1st round was instantly negated with a successful double. Round 3 didn't do them any favors either, but their excellent 2nd half made up for everything! They come in 3rd, taking the bronze!
Whoa, Smelly Banter jumped into the lead with an incredible 1st half that included 2 successful doubles in a row! They'd lose the lead in the 2nd half, but then admirably went for the win with a double in the final round, which failed. The gap between them & the team trailing was great enough though as they take 2nd, earning the silver!
Ex Partay, newcomers to trivia night at Founder's Ale House, had a magnificent debut game! They started off with a double & then sprinkled in a couple of more for good measure, including an all too important one in round 6 that threw them far into the lead & forced a failed double from their rivals, Whoa, Smelly Banter. Ex Partay earns 1st, debuts as a champion, & takes the gold!
