Long time, no trivia!  I can't believe it's been two weeks since Founders had King Trivia on Tuesday night.  Man, it feels great to be back!!  Thank you so much for coming out and getting back into your trivia groove!  And what a consistent groove it is for the Ancient Geezers (pictured first).  Once again, they found themselves in the top three teams.  First place to be exact.  They started with two successful double downs in the first two rounds and kept trucking after that.  They basically had the lead the entire game, blocking "I Love it When You Call Me Rav Papa" from stealing the $75 bar credit.  "I Love it When You Call Me Rav Papa" (pictured second) gets the top prize for team spirit though.  They were definitely having a good Tuesday night and cheering all the way through.  Unfortunately, that spirit prize is just a shout out on this recap: RAV PAPA! What! WHAT!!  Nice work you guys!  Our third place team was Alternative Answers ("AA" pictured third).  AA was tied with Rav Papa a lot of the time.  At the end of the 6th round, it was 48 to 48.  In the last round, Rav Papa named 6 of the highest grossing WWII films but AA could only get 5.  That one WWII movie cost them their $25 bar credit.  But, like I always say, a round of Coors Banquet is no third place prize.  It's the prize for champions!  So drink up, AA (that doesn't look good when I abbreviate their name to AA and tell them to drink up)!  Have a great week and I'll see you next Tuesday!

For two weeks in a row, "I Lost My Virginity At..." has taken the highest prize.  No, I am not referring to the round of Coors Banquet.  I am talking about first place; the $75 bar credit off their tab!  That is a pretty sweet deal and they have won it two times in a row! A huge congrats to them!  At the end of the first round, I didn't think they were going to pull it off again.  They only got 4 out of 6 correct in the general knowledge round.  They didn't give up though!  They continued to stack up points, a few at a time, to keep up with the pace of the entire bar.  No teams were doubling down so every team was pretty close to one another.  The difference maker was the round number 6 handout.  Matching the chain restaurant to their signature dessert.  People were very excited about this one and a few teams even doubled down successfully.  One of those teams was "I Lost My Virginity At" (pictured first) which launched them in to a comfortable lead.  Another team who doubled in the 6th was Interrobang Gang (IG).  IG did their best to catch the leader but could only name 4 of the 9 US states with no tax on earned income.  Ancient Geezers (pictured second) had the lead the entire game until the 6th round.  They got 10 out of 10 on the signature dessert matching but they did not take the double or nothing risk.  This ultimately lead them to finish second when they named 7 out of 9 US states with no tax on earned income.  It was a pretty close game though!  I was happy to see so much competition all the way through round seven.  Thank you for coming out!
