10 teams matched wits to see who was the MOST smartest at Rocco's Tavern tonight. There was some fierce competition with a lot of registered teams at kingtrivia.com vying for FIRST place. I was super excited to see one of my favorite teams, "A Case of the Mondays" show up tonight. As always, they're smart when they know the answer and funny when the don't. I also really enjoyed getting to know some teams I hadn't met before like, "Frisky Kitties," "O-Trivia Newton John," "Double "O" Seven," and "Bad Yelp Review." I wish everyone could have placed. But there can only be one THIRD place and that went to "Deep in Thot" with 40 points. And just barely squeezing by them with 41 points grabbing SECOND place was "Guys @ Bar." And smashing their way to FIRST place with 55 points was "Time to Smash." Thanks to everyone for such a fun evening of King Trivia!

Eleven teams duked it out, with stiff competition leading to some record scores.
Scores were fairly level through four rounds, with the top 9 teams separated by just 12 points. Polesmokers/Cheese Pits led by 3 at that point, propelled by a first-clue guess on the Guess Who round. Gym Fam, then back by 8, would go on to double in each of the last three rounds, giving them an incredible 90 points. Polesmokers/Cheese Pits would lose their lead in round 5 when Deep in Thot and Painted Taints each also doubled, but would regain second at the end with their own double in round 7. Painted Taints finished third.
Polesmokers/Cheese Pits nailed the drinking round by perfectly identifying the diameter of the moon (within half a mile).

Frisky Kitties controlled the game for most of the night, but found themselves in second after Gym Fam leapfrogged several teams with the only double-or-nothing in round 6.
Bad Yelp Review was the only team to get the Guess Who answer after the first clue, and they stayed steady the rest of the game to finish in a solid third place.
Slo Mo Fos won the drinking round by most closely guessing the number of RSVPs to the 'Storm Area 51' Facebook event.
