Winners on Winners on Winners - that's the game we play at Rocco's. The newly initiated game saw 5 teams come out for Monday Trivia -- one group had to leave early, so we were left with 4 -- and with one of those being a Rocco's staff team, it meant every left was going home a winner.

And, the big winner? Well, fittingly it was the perfect combination of Mr. T & the newest darling of winter sports: curling.  As Mr. T says Curling is Cool... fool leapt to a first round lead, and never let go -- completed a victory in the first game I've seen a champion crowned without a least a single successful double or nothing.

In fact, not one team attempted the 2x or nothing -- but questions were answered, a good time was had, a championship was earned, and best of all? EVERYBODY WON SOMETHING.

Everybody won this week at Rocco's Tavern!

Teams jockeyed for position all the way to the end, the top three spots swapped left and right. Schmoo's Clues and Rocco's-crew-home-team Chainsmokers stayed within a single point of each other through the whole game -- which led to a tiebreaker question after the last round! Chainsmokers guessed Japan's judo gold within a single medal, snagging them their own gold, but as they were employees of the establishment, they valiantly handed their prize to Schmoo's.

Second place went to Trivia Is Hard, a one-man team who showed that although his team name was accurate, he was able to transcend its difficulties for that gift certificate. Third went to Sex Kittens, because if you don't play, you can't win, but if you do play, sometimes you do win!

The fun continues to grow at Rocco's -- we've got returning teams, new groups drawn to the fun, and, of course, the regular squad of a Rocco's crew showing everyone how trivia is done, and after a promise of a triple threat: fun, competition, and free money, it will just grow from there.

It was our King Trivia regulars, Paddington Kills with an extreme knowledge of celebrities and Oscars that timed a pair of successful double or nothing rounds into a 19 point win. The race for the prizes for 2nd and 3rd, ended up being a 1 point difference, with a last second switch of Best Picture nominated films by Team Tonya edged them just passed One Mo Time.
