QUIZ RECAP

The game started out with a rough round 1, with most teams scoring only 2, but 2 Girls 1 Chris get an early lead with their score of 4.

Newcomer Sean hops in late (round 6) & impressively overtakes Rocco's Killers, who had 2 failed doubles to end the game, to take the bronze!

The Violets had a couple of bad rounds (1 & 3), but also had a couple of good rounds (2 & 9). Their perseverance pays off as they take silver!

2 Girls 1 Chris repeatedly finished rounds with a higher than average score & never lost the lead. They had a close call in round 6 with The Violets only 2 points behind, however both teams impressively scored 9 in the last round causing no shakeups. 2 Girls 1 Chris takes the gold!

QUIZ RECAP

Rocco's Culver is rapidly becoming the place to be on Monday nights at 9, ya'll.  And especially given we had a race where 1st and 3rd were separated by 4 points -- come get in on this high-octane, friendly competition.

Tonight we got back on the sheet of ice, and Mr. T telling us curling is cool, also told us all about cities and states straight to a 6th round successful double or nothing which they broomed right to their second gold medal in 3 weeks.

Paddington Kills will always wonder what could have been, because a similar precise U.S. geographical knowledge, but checking that double or nothing X was what came between victory and second place.

And back once again, in the money - Cheeseburger Backpacks, proved their trivia mettle was not a one week anomaly.

With 4 teams joining after we got started, a packed bar, and gamesmanship, the staff team, 2 Girls, 1 Chris, who started out strong in first place after 2 rounds, were kept just a little too busy by strategic patrons/competitors that their eyes drifted just off their answer book and into 4th place...

QUIZ RECAP

There is King Trivia goodness brewing in Culver City on Monday nights at 9pm, ya'll! Our biggest collection of participants yet, saw a crowded bar clearly distract our weekly staff contestant team, and leave it to the patrons.

There a closely contested fun - saw Trivia is Hard make trivia a bit easier and hold off the defending champs, Mr. T! Unfortunately, the Lakers game we were closely monitoring did not end as well as our game did.  And, who knew there was so many Hemsworths? Well, our crew did, as virtually every possible Hemsworth was guessed, when Chris was who we were looking for.  Which is the answer that vaulted our 3rd place finishers, Cheeseburger Backpacks, into the final money winning spot.
