QUIZ RECAP

What a night for trivia it was here at Rocco's in Culver City. After the excitement last week, this weeks trivia game was smooth sailing! We started on time, we didn't have to eject anybody, and we had 8 teams who competed for free drinks using only the knowledge in their brains.

It was a festive night with people still recovering from the holidays. The tryptophan wearing off, many teams took advantage of the double or nothing option which catapulted both Area 51 and Paddington Kills into the top 2.

Paddington Kills, noticeable regulars, who told me they missed last week and after a recap from another team, they thanked me for coming back. A well-deserved thanks it was. The winner of the drinking round Show Me where you pee from cheered at nearly every answer!

Can't wait to do it all again next week at Rocco's in Culver City on Monday's at 9 pm.

QUIZ RECAP

Oh what a fantastic night of King Trivia it was at Rocco's in Culver City tonight. The evening had everything, from laughs, to drama, and most importantly, TRIVIA!! Right after the conclusion of the big NFL game, everyone came to see, we rousted quite the crowd for King Trivia tonight. We had our regulars, and some new faces too!

The raucous crowd was eager to participate and win themselves some free drinks! One man got so inebriated he needed to be physically removed from a bar, but not before a light public meltdown and a proclamation that he was a proud member of Beyonce's Beehive! #NotAllBeyonceFans

It's a dog eat dog world out there and we had a few canines on the scene.

This was my first time hosting trivia, but it certainly won't be my last. According to the winning team I did, "really well... for my first time." Gotta love a qualified compliment!

QUIZ RECAP

Another week, another trivia night. Bar patrons and almanac lovers alike turned up Monday night for a rousing evening. On the day we honor our country's brave veterans, we had three solid teams take to the quiz sheets to display their wits.

The tried, the true, and the aptly seasonal HOW THE GOOCH STOLE DICKS-MAS led the way with 47 points. Joining halfway through the second round, HENNY ON DA ROCKS had a strong showing with 22 points. Bringing up 3rd was HOOCHIE HOES, who, despite leaving a third of the way into the night, finished with a clean 13 points.

While it was a little quieter than usual at Rocco's, these bold trivia testers showed their moxie, and claimed the ultimate prize of free bar beverages. Hey, when there's only 3 teams playing your chances aren't too bad. I had a great time subbing in this week, see y'all soon!
