Solid night. Was able to get done before 10pm which was nice. Finding a way to streamline everything. For the drinking round I had them name as many numerals as possible after the decimal in pi.

QUIZ RECAP
Lots of people once again in the basement. Had just run a private event and it was hectic at home planning out how that would run and so I forgot to come up with a drinking round for this game! I recalled one done by Michael Miller at the Tam (my usual venue to play) and used that one: "Name the 9 driest deserts on Earth." Looked up the info and wrote it down. Even put it to the same song he had, since I also owned it, "Sandstorm" by Darude. Had a three way tie so the tie breaker was naming the driest place on earth, one of the deserts, and asking what the yearly rainfall was. Kudos to Da Bears for getting it exactly (10mm!) and for donating their pitcher (they had enough to drink already) to the last place team. Da Bears also won the whole night, nice job!

QUIZ RECAP
Lots of folks tonight, 15 teams and around 55 people. For the drinking round, inspired by the round 6 handout for license vanity plates in movies, I had them make me a license plate from the back of the round two handout. 7 characters max. Attached to the pix is my favorite one, by Purple Monkey Dishwasher (also tonight's 1st place team!) Extra kudos to them though-- since they weren't drinking that night, they gave their prize to the lowest ranked team, Mr. Clowney. The last place team was mighty stoked about their free pitcher hehe.
