What a great game!
This week featured more lead changes than I can remember.
Strategic doubling turned into Good News for the Bad News Barristers as they walked away with the $100 first prize gift certificate!
Congrats also to the Meowths and Intravenous de Milo for there 2nd and 3rd place finishes amongst a crowded field of challengers
this week also featured a raffle for a pitcher of beer and later a round of shots.... So bonus!

It was a serious night with some serious competition! Unfortunately things got off to a rocky start... Is Bill Gates a Silicon Valley philanthropist even though he's never lived there or had a company based there??? Well it doesn't much matter since we ended up throwing that question out.
For the second week in a row, Whole 1/2 Yards used some shrewd doubling to make their move late in the game and come up with their second consecutive win! There was also a tie-breaker for 3rd as Urban Achievers managed to block Pasadena Peeps from making it 5 weeks in a row finishing in the money.
We played Lottería for the drinking round and Legoland Greenleaf picked up the free pitcher of beer to go along with the $50 2nd place prize.

QUIZ RECAP
After missing last week's game because I was hanging out with Slash, Axl and Duff at Dodger Stadium, it felt great to be asking questions, playing tunes, and drinking beer with you all again.
Once again no teams were successful in doubling on the first round, but then Orange You Glad moved in to a commanding lead on round 2 with their knowledge of TV detectives! It looked like they might run away with the the whole game too as they kept building on their lead in subsequent rounds... Until the Matching Round when John Elway came out of retirement to ruin their night. That allowed Whole Half Yards and Pasadena Peeps to take over the top 2 spots. The excitement wasn't over though as round 7 provided a chance for #p4L (the only team to pull a successful double in the round) to make a miraculous move from 5th up to 2nd place!
Congrats again to Whole Half Yards for their first win of Season 7 and to the Pasadena Peeps who have now finished in the money 4 weeks in a row!
