Boy does it feel good to be back in action! Tonight was a good one too!

The Pasadena Peeps did amazingly right out of the gate (despite being down a member) with the Purple Monkey Dishwashers giving them a run for their money and keeping first place a Tie all the way into the second half.

When Emmy Rosum disguised herself as Lady Gaga, the Peeps feel into second with the dishwashers securing first and Da Bears rising up to third, where they all held their positions for the night

Thank you to everyone who came, and thanks as always to my girlfriend, for being the maple syrup to my Canada!

QUIZ RECAP

Sometimes, a force is simply unstoppable. Such is the case when the Pasadena Peeps decided to break up in the third round, splitting into the Peeps and the Beeps. The Beeps were undeterred- in a series of successful doubles, they took bronze with ease as the original Peeps got the gold. Only a group of burly Bears could hold them apart, as the other teams fought their way to the finale. Truly a struggle for the ages.

Nevertheless, congrats teams! Love hosting Barney's, hope to see you again soon.

QUIZ RECAP

It was a pretty chill night of trivia, there were only 8 teams, we moved through it what felt like pretty quickly, and there were... Pool tables again?? WHAT THE F-

So "Quizmaster go faster" started off with a commanding lead when many of the teams unsuccessfully doubled down on the air force. But because they were nerds who are registered teams, they were still able to come back from behind. But this major lapse was just what Tequila Mockingbird needed to creep up and steal the lead!

Once they had it, they never let go! With Da Bears and the Dishwashers clawing their way back up to 2nd and third!

While all this was going on, Come on Fhqwhygods stole everyone's free drinks out from under them!

Thank you again to my girlfriend for helping me keep a paper backup of the scores for when my fancy web app inevitably crashed and reset the scoreboard (twice)
