QUIZ RECAP

After a week off for Thanksgiving Thursday, we were back at it at Barney's Pasadena. Missing a couple of regular teams, we had a good time all the same, with the drinking round being won by Brain Farts. I had the teams make paper airplanes and the team that got theirs closest to me (my feet) won. Brain Farts also took third place, with Purple Monkey Dishwasher just missing out on gold, and Pasadenian Toothfish taking first.

'Twas a fun night with all these teams, for the drinking round I had them name as many 6-letter elements from the periodic table as possible, and wouldn't you know it- we had a table of chem majors. They (Acidic Cleavage) got 16 out of 17, missing only Indium!

In the end, Second Cousins took third, with I Quiz in Your General Direction (two person team- wow!) taking second, and the Pasadena Peeps taking first. Birthday shout out (and accompanying pic!) to Da Bears' Laikin (sp?)

QUIZ RECAP

Talk about a packed house! Lots and lots of teams and unfortunately the drinking round went long, but it was fun! We played the movie game, and had them send a rep up from their teams and form a circle. One person started with an actor/actress or movie and the next person would have to name a movie they've been in or another actor in the movie and repeat until some one is stumped, which ejects them from game until last person standing. Congrats to Da Bears for winning and welcome back to them after a long hiatus. In the end, it was Purple Monkey Dishwasher edging out 3rd with Pasadena Peeps edging 2nd and Club Obi Wan rocking multiple double downs to secure 1st place.
