It was another great night for Trivia Tuesday! We had 5 teams, and some great competitors
Riff Raff started off with a bang in Round 1, and kept their lead for the entire game! Great job Riff Raff!
The real competition was the battle for 2nd place between Sleeping Booty and Smell de Feet. These regulars kept us on our toes with their outstanding knowledge and energy.
It was up to Three Men and One and a Half Ladies versus the Doughboys to find out who would bring up the rear. The Three Men and One and a Half Ladies came in with a ton of enthusiasm and spirit, which kept everyone in a uplifting mood. Though, my favorite set of Round 7 answers came from the Doughboys... The question was to identify Hugh Jackman's 10 highest domestic grossing movies, all with full titles, and here's the (incorrect, but funniest) list:
- Wolverine XMen Origins
- Les Miserables
- XMen Origins
- Detective Pikachu
- The Boy from Oz
- XMen The Last Stand
- XMen the Musical
- XMen Goes to the Circuis
- XMen vs. G-Unit
- Who's Hugh Jackman
Thanks to everyone who came out to make a memorable night! See you all again next week!

We had four great teams playing trivia this Tuesday at Bar Charlie.
Smooth Hands started off with a bang, going double-or-nothing on the first round AND with the two bonus points for having their team registered on KingTrivia.com, they blew it out of the gate! And they kept that momentum going through to the end of the first five rounds.
Ferguson stayed positive, even though they didn't initially come to play trivia, they were troopers, and even drew a stick figure of the Beefeaters on Round 1, question 5.
The Valcoholics were steady at the middle of the pack throughout the night, and maintained their spot in 3rd place, while Smell De Feet and Smooth Hands duked it out fir first.
Smell De Feet finally secured their first place spot in Round 6, with a double-or-nothing throw-down on matching the musicals with their featured artist.
So, by round 7, anyone could have pulled ahead, as the top 3 teams were all within 8 points of each other. Ultimately, it was Smell De Feet, who let everyone else do just that.
Great work everyone! See you all again next week!

We had 5 teams for trivia this week and some really tough questions.
Riff Raff started out as strong as ever with their Double-or-Nothing option for twice the points plus the two extra points for having their team registered on KingTrivia.com. And they kept their lead all the way until Round 4, when they turned in their answer too soon, and guess incorrectly, costing them one precious point, which brought them down to 2nd, as Risk it for the Biscuit pulled ahead into 1st.
With Sea Foam Green keeping their pace in 5th place throughout the game, that left it to Charvia Trivlie and Team Hotpie to duke it out for 3rd.
In Round 2, the picture round caused some confusion on the Erlenmeyer flask and a Graduated cylinder, with a few teams guessing they were a beaker and test tube. No one knew what a Retort was (including me, except I had the answers), but brownie points for some creative guesses.
Round 4, Guess Where, had a couple of teams forget that it could be a real or fictional place, but in the end, only 1 wrong answer.
We did have a typo on the Round 6 handout, but the teams might have been scared to let me know, due to Rule #3, Quizmaster is always right, but I'm glad they did bring it up! Army Men: Green Rouge would be a way different game than Green Rogue!
Finally to Round 7, the final round asked two questions this week. One of our players mentioned to me that Round 7 typically plays to one kind of nerd or another, but this week, we got to use brain power for 2 kinds! The questions were in no way related, so it was a good mix of answers.
In the end, of course, we had a winner that kept their lead since Round 4 all the way through to Round 7 - Risk it for the Biscuit were the victors in 1st place, followed closely (2 points away) by Riff Raff in 2nd place, and Team Hotpie came in 3rd.
Honorable mention to Charvia Trivlie and Sea Foam Green for sticking with us.
Thank you to everyone who came out to play! See you again next week 🙂
