We celebrated the season of love through our love of knowledge on Tuesday. We enjoyed some candy, shared some hugs and kisses and updated relationship statuses throughout the evening. Some teams even shared a bit of Valentine's Day cheer to our lovely venue! What a night!
We also played a bit of Mad Libs, putting together this wonderful love letter to our gracious hosts.
When we first met, you looked GREEN and StUMPY. I couldn't believe my ARM! You smelled like LAMP and walked as graceful as a PUG. I couldn't wait to WALK to you.
I CLUMSILY asked you if I could have your TABLE. I could see a look of DELICIOUSNESS in your eyes. You hesitated for a moment, then game me a FACTORY.
I finally got to take you on our first date. I loved spending time with you. You could make me JUMP so easily, like no one had before. When you touched me, I felt GIN up my LEG. When you looked at me, I could see New York. I knew we were meant to be together.
After a HAPPY night, I was so TALL to bring you home. I longed to TRAFFIC you again. You looked at me and said, "F***!" and I just knew. You SPOONED me and I THRUSTED you.
Here we are after all this time. It feels like 1001 years! I look forward to 42/9ths more. You make me want to **** and I will SUCK you forever. Nobody else could EMANCIPATE me like you do.
SURREPTICIOUSLY yours,
Us
Speaking of Love, pending congratulations are in order for our friends, Squints. They're expecting a bouncing baby boy in the coming days and may need to take a break from trivia for a while. If the miracle happens between now ant the 20th, congrats. If not, we'll play together one last time next week!
Welcome to the Corny Collins Show, ya'll! Don't get stuck on the bench sipping on your Rob Roy. They're playing "Try Again" and Harley Quinn is all by herself. And When a Man Loves A Woman, he'll face any foe from Raiden to Sub-Zero. After all, she is a Bombshell that really gets the blood flowing.
Maybe after, you can stop by Dairy Queen and then some Schtupping. You know, start a family with lots of kids, just like Jason Seaver or Phil Dunphy. A real Modern Family type situation; a Marriage Story, if you will. And in the morning, I'm making bagels!
See you next week!
Oh what a night! We had a little bit of everything tonight. Drama, Comedy, Stunts, Costumes, ok, maybe not so much on the stunts and costumes. But, we had a very entertaining night of it overall.
The Joke was on most teams as photo #3 turned out to be quite a challenge. Had guesses ranging from Selena Gomez to Olivia Wilde, but alas, it was Angelina Jolie going rogue the whole time! Our secret connection of "game shows" stymied several teams, but it was Child's Play for our champs, Yo Yo Mothra, who used their double-up Gambit that round and put everyone else in Jeopardy! I guess you could call them Studs after that round. Kudos to familiar faces Team Etc Etc on their valiant effort to reach 2nd place.
Next week, let's talk Oscars (those are awards for movies. Movies are pictures that move.). What's your pick?
