Pour is focused on bringing the community together.  We are creating an environment that showcases the quality craftsmanship of beers available to the world today, with an emphasis on Colorado craft beer.  Our focus is providing the community an exceptional environment to socialize, relax and interact with one another while experiencing all that properly served beer has to offer… one “Pour” at a time.

 

What we are:

 

Pour is a craft beer tap house with 30 draft lines focusing on the best beer we can source.  We have a constantly varying beer selection from the best breweries available.  Our taps have a wide variety of high-end craft beer that will appease the newest beer connoisseur to the oldest and most experienced beer snob.  We offer very basic snacks, but encourage you to bring whatever food you would like to enjoy while you partake in our beer selection.  We can make beer and food pairing suggestions to enhance your experience and will be conducting pairing events and education seminars routinely.  Finally, we are working with quality food trucks to bring some great food to our neighborhood while enhancing business opportunities for some very motivated individuals.  We look forward to seeing you at Pour and will gladly host any type of social gatherings you can dream up.

Happy December, everyone! So we're entering a strange time. Sure, some businesses and avid Santa fans have been playing Christmas music since their kids came back from trick-or-treating. I am more of a "12 days of Christmas" kind of guy. So, for this week, there wasn't a lot of holiday cheer between questions. Next week, however, you'll probably get all the Mariah Carey, Adam Sandler and Band Aid you can handle.

For tonight, we had Nicole joining us as the newest member of the King Trivia family. Thanks to everyone for supporting her during her rounds! She'll be hosting at another venue coming soon. Hope you enjoyed our leftover "turkey" round. I was disappointed that only one team figured out the Indiana Jones theme, but you all redeemed yourselves nicely with our musical handout. See you all next week!

Oh, and next week think of me as "Just a fly in the ointment, Hans. The monkey in the wrench. The pain in the ass."

A bird in the hand is worth a round of drinks, as it turns out. We channeled our inner kindergarteners today and drew some absolutely fantastic turkeys! I especially liked the turkey that told me "Epstein didn't kill himself", but our winner (as chosen by GM Matt) was beautifully drawn and expressed thanks for trivia at Pour Tap House on a cold, snowy night. We concur! Thanks, Team Etc Etc.

As for the quiz, Shakespeare said it best in Macbeth "Double, Double Toil and Trouble", as the double or nothing rule made its presence known tonight. We had it all, several teams failed to double up, several scored perfect rounds but didn't risk it and a precious few successfully doubled up. One thing we all learned is that once you turn in your answer sheet, it's mine and no, you can't have it back. We have to have some level of discipline and decorum in this wild world after all.

Congrats to Multiple Scorgasms for finally taking advantage of their several perfect rounds to double up at the end. Hope to see everybody back for next week's quiz at 7pm on Tuesday.

REMINDER: We're planning to be open on New Year's Eve with an early edition of King Trivia followed by Karaoke and then a DJ to ring in the new year. Details coming soon.

Oh, so now you're gonna read my wonderful blog. Now that you know that a beer is in the offing, you're suddenly interested in what I have to say. So, the tables have truly turned. Only now, at the end, do you understand. Everything has proceeded as I have foreseen.

Congrats to Mothra on a runaway victory. They earned the early TKO with two double-ups in the first two rounds. Big shout out to the Moms Who Drink (and vape and don't double-up) on a strong performance. We're glad you found us and hope to see you again for Tacos and Trivia in the future. Happy Birthdays also go out to players for Hands off my soobies and Better Late Than Pregnant. Valentine's Day was about 9 months ago, Hmmm.....
