About Pour Tap House

Answer Submission Form for Pour Tap House

Pour is focused on bringing the community together.  We are creating an environment that showcases the quality craftsmanship of beers available to the world today, with an emphasis on Colorado craft beer.  Our focus is providing the community an exceptional environment to socialize, relax and interact with one another while experiencing all that properly served beer has to offer… one “Pour” at a time.

What we are:

Pour is a craft beer tap house with 30 draft lines focusing on the best beer we can source.  We have a constantly varying beer selection from the best breweries available.  Our taps have a wide variety of high-end craft beer that will appease the newest beer connoisseur to the oldest and most experienced beer snob.  We offer very basic snacks, but encourage you to bring whatever food you would like to enjoy while you partake in our beer selection.  We can make beer and food pairing suggestions to enhance your experience and will be conducting pairing events and education seminars routinely.  Finally, we are working with quality food trucks to bring some great food to our neighborhood while enhancing business opportunities for some very motivated individuals.  We look forward to seeing you at Pour and will gladly host any type of social gatherings you can dream up.

Wow, what a way to celebrate Gloria Estefan! We had a clutch (?) Nuggets victory in Game 7 despite missing an easy layup with 3 seconds left. We had a stellar double-up by The Beefy Peaches in Round 2. Instagram reared its unfiltered, ugly head in our Connection round, but the Beastie Boys put everyone in a festive mood (after a brief scuffle, of course).

Shout out to La Patrona who covered our taco needs for the second straight week. And also to Mary and Mike for keeping the beers flowing smoothly throughout the night. I'd like to also give a special shoutout to new players Tigo Biggies for teaching me about Al Snow, a wrestling superstar that missed my teenage window of interest.

Next week will follow Labor Day festivities/observations/ignorance. So come out to blow off your workday stresses by answering questions about ice cream, heads and fictional fathers (oh wait, that was last week. Congrats to Midas Whales for continuing their winning streak.

Konichiwa!

We celebrated some Japanese culture while enjoying Taco Tuesday as we continue to bring the world togethe through trivia. What did we learn today? Bojack Horseman likes sugar cubes. Rod Stewart was never member of The Yardbirds, and never schtupped George Harrison's wife. Those little peppermint pinwheels are actually called Starlights. Also, Jalisco is now every bar trivia players favorite Mexican state.

Also, A Christmas Carol is a novella. It has between 20-40,000 words, while novels exceed 40k (usually 50k). It doesn't meet the standards expressly defined in the Round 7 Final Question Notes. Don't. Answer. It. 🙂

See ya next week, when we celebrate Gloria Estefan's birthday! Maybe request one of her classic hits to play during the quiz. Or not. I think we've firmly established that no one reads the whole blog. TTFN

The Dog Days of Summer are certainly here. Back to school has a whole new meaning for everyone and the simple act of going out for a great dinner and a nice evening with friends involves many new considerations. We're glad to have everyone's support as we continue to take every step we can to ensure a healthy environment for our games.

Of course, when an Ol' Dirty Bastard shows up at the end, it makes things a bit more challenging! We had a great time matching up our drummers to their related bands, had a tough time connecting the dots on the Boston Red Sox and showed our deep and abiding love for Ed Sheeran. Here's to another great week of trivia and some more amazing tacos next week.

Tell you what, next week tell me about the last Oscar-winning Best Picture you've seen. Let's get high-brow and hoity-toity.
