About Pour Tap House

Answer Submission Form for Pour Tap House

Pour is focused on bringing the community together.  We are creating an environment that showcases the quality craftsmanship of beers available to the world today, with an emphasis on Colorado craft beer.  Our focus is providing the community an exceptional environment to socialize, relax and interact with one another while experiencing all that properly served beer has to offer… one “Pour” at a time.

What we are:

Pour is a craft beer tap house with 30 draft lines focusing on the best beer we can source.  We have a constantly varying beer selection from the best breweries available.  Our taps have a wide variety of high-end craft beer that will appease the newest beer connoisseur to the oldest and most experienced beer snob.  We offer very basic snacks, but encourage you to bring whatever food you would like to enjoy while you partake in our beer selection.  We can make beer and food pairing suggestions to enhance your experience and will be conducting pairing events and education seminars routinely.  Finally, we are working with quality food trucks to bring some great food to our neighborhood while enhancing business opportunities for some very motivated individuals.  We look forward to seeing you at Pour and will gladly host any type of social gatherings you can dream up.

Happy March! It's almost time for March Madness, one of my favorite times of year. It syncs with the start of baseball season and the The Masters golf tournament. Hope springs eternal, the azaleas are in bloom and Cinderella is looking for a slipper.

We had our own Cinderella story tonight, with Defending Champs starting slow and then finishing strong to top the standings for a second straight week. We got to celebrate the Beautiful Game and take a trip around the world (sort of, with EPCOT). Here's to another great week. We'll see you next Tuesday with more tacos and more trivia!

The double or nothing rule is a cruel mistress. It can be a successful 'controlled burn' that rejuvenates a forest ecosystem and sparks new life into bloom. Or it can turn into a raging inferno that threatens wildlife and planned communities alike. It's not something to be taken lightly. As Uncle Ben once told a young Peter Parker, "With great power comes great responsibility."

Team Mothra Gras didn't get the memo. Just as Sisyphus repeatedly pushed that boulder up the hill only to get crushed time and time again, they never quite learned the lesson about risk sometimes outweighing reward. They managed to enter the first scoring break with the lead, having earned 14 points after Rounds 1&2. They then proceed to earn 0, -1, 9, 0 & 0 in the subsequent rounds. They were doomed by wrong answers including "Jenny Craig", "New York Yankees", and "nougat". Silly rabbits.

Congrats to our evening's champions, Midas Whale, who came up with a punny team name I hadn't known before. Also, kudos to Names Are For Tombstones on their triumphant return to competition and Team Nico, the first-timers who stumped me with a question about protein powder. Nice job, everyone!

Howdy, ladies and gents! How you doin'?

Let's get down to brass tacks. We don't much care for U.S. History in these parts. Presidents? Overrated. States earning stars? Buncha nonsense. We need more questions about things I actually learned in college, like the Greek alphabet. Now THAT'S something worth learning.

Also, palindromes are cool. They just look cool, are easy to type. Spelling is simpler. KAYAK. NICE. Appreciated the team that guessed RACECAR for the Honda subcompact that dates back to 1972. Was fairly disappointed not to see TACO CAT as a guess, especially since we played on TACO TUESDAY! Maybe I should have been sending out an SOS (get it, I referenced Round 4 there!).

And finally, what's up with so many terrible guesses about Jimmy Buffet's classic ode to Cheesburgers? Margaritaville? Really? I have never felt more disappointment than reading so many of those submissions.

Here's to another week of trivia. Maybe I'll see the triumphant return of teams like Mothra, Tombstones or the "Dons". Fingers crossed. See ya next week.

PS. Congrats to Squints who are gonna take some time away from trivia to take care of their baby boy (ETA 2/20). Start 'em young is what I suggested, but they seem to feel otherwise. Congrats again!
