Pour is focused on bringing the community together.  We are creating an environment that showcases the quality craftsmanship of beers available to the world today, with an emphasis on Colorado craft beer.  Our focus is providing the community an exceptional environment to socialize, relax and interact with one another while experiencing all that properly served beer has to offer… one “Pour” at a time.

 

What we are:

 

Pour is a craft beer tap house with 30 draft lines focusing on the best beer we can source.  We have a constantly varying beer selection from the best breweries available.  Our taps have a wide variety of high-end craft beer that will appease the newest beer connoisseur to the oldest and most experienced beer snob.  We offer very basic snacks, but encourage you to bring whatever food you would like to enjoy while you partake in our beer selection.  We can make beer and food pairing suggestions to enhance your experience and will be conducting pairing events and education seminars routinely.  Finally, we are working with quality food trucks to bring some great food to our neighborhood while enhancing business opportunities for some very motivated individuals.  We look forward to seeing you at Pour and will gladly host any type of social gatherings you can dream up.

When Dreams become Nightmares. All my life, I had one goal, one dream....to host trivia in a bar. For the past couple of months, I've been living that dream, meeting great people, learning new things, eating delicious tacos.

But last night changed everything. One itsy bitsy little connector for a cord extension stood between glory and despair.

This is where humanity shines. This is where mankind elevates above the rest!

Thankfully, I had a local hero (Chris, pictured above) who rescued me with a portable sound system. Also photo credits to Brian , who ably assisted me with photos while I caught up on scoring. Shoutout to Danielle and Kirsten behind the bar for doing what they could to help out. Tech stuff is a nasty curve ball and they were helpful with offering suggestions and ideas!

Here's a list of the competition. Congrats to the winners. Thanks to the golfers for a valiant effort, despite starting in round 5. You're tee time is set for 7pm next week, and don't plan on any mulligans!

What a different a double or nothing makes. Above the Law crushed this quiz, but one small hiccup was the difference between glory and disaster. To quote the great Ricky Bobby, "If you're not first, you're last". Sadly, That image of a presidential loser was not Barry Goldwater. That one small mistake change your Round 2 from 16 to 0 in an instant. And, fittingly, from first to last. Congrats to our champs, the Gum Cuzzlin' folks who like to (try to) get me in trouble. Kudos to Multiple Scoregasms on locking down second. And special mention to our 3rd prize winners (and 8th place finishers) something something karaoke something.

As for next week, I'm still looking for someone to cash in on my free beer offer. It's pretty simple, really.

Things I learned today:

1) Not all rodeo cowboys are named Luke.

2) Dancing with the Stars really knows no limit when scraping for d-list celebrities.

3) "Without Me" and "Without You" are different song titles.

4) La Baja tacos are absolutely fantastic.

Great to see so many familiar faces again this week and happy to see some new teams join in the fun! Still waiting on someone to actually read these recaps, so here's another secret phrase to tell me next Tuesday. It'll get you a free beer, I promise.
