This was a close battle right up through round 4 with even the Guess Who round showing scores of either 2 or -1. It wasn't until round 5 that things broke open.
The Stooges had a successful double in round 5 and a perfect score in round 6 (although no double) to take the top spot. Even though the BOBs had an unsuccessful double in round 5, their successful double in the final round brought them from behind to take 2nd. Mathilda took 3rd on strong scores throughout the night, missing out on the 2nd spot by a single point.

Three teams (Blind, Geralt, and Stooges) had perfect scores in round 1 and didn't double. Only one of those came back well enough to make the top 3.
Giant Meteor successfully doubled in round 2 which became the key to their victory. A perfect score (but no double) in round 6 put them on top.
Stooges had a successful double in round 6, but a premature Guess Who kept them out of first place. They had to settle for 2nd. Gene also successfully doubled in round 6. Their low scores in rounds 2-4 meant 3rd was as high as they were getting.
The BOBs were kept out of the top 3 by an unsuccessful double in round 5. Geralt could have been on top if they'd doubled in round 1. Blind could've been in the top 3 if they'd either doubled in round 1 or not doubled in round 6. Hindsight in 2020!

The BOBs and Iz set themselves up for a win with successful doubles in round 2. GBD and the Stooges claimed their spots just with strong scores throughout the night.
