The teams stayed pretty even for the first four round, We Give Up pulling slightly ahead on points alone. Mathilda broke out of the pack with a successful double in round 5 (I guess they know their cookies). We Give Up kept up their strong showing to take second place while the Goldfish's strong scores in the last 3 rounds clinched 3rd place.

Lots of new folks showed up for tonight's quiz which is always fun!
Everyone made a pretty strong showing in the first round, but it was Mathilda leaping out to an early lead with a successful double in round 2. JJ4 and Quiz made their doubles in round 3, but then things got... interesting.
Avocado and JJ4 guessed a bit too early in round 4 and JJ4 failed a double in round 5, putting them way behind. Quiz had another double in round 5 putting them ahead to stay while HRL just rode a string of solid rounds to 3rd place.

Group started out on top and managed to mostly stay there, even while the B Team and Mathilda dogged their heels. Failed doubles in round 3 and 7 kept We Give Up and HRL out of contention. It was a great, close race, and I was glad to see so many familiar faces return.
