This seemed to be a tough one for our regulars. The theme round gave everyone trouble (guess they don't know their frogs), and everyone but Mathilda had trouble Guessing Who. Amusingly, everyone got perfect scores in tonight's matching, but since only half the teams were confident enough to double, that ended up splitting the pack.
The Fab Five managed to ride their round 1 double all the way to the finish line!

HRL and Group Blind Date came to battle. With only 13 points separating the two in the tournament (and 83 points down to third place), this would determine who won the $100 and who left with $50.
In round 1, GBD doubled unsuccessfully, putting HRL in the lead. Both teams successfully doubled in round 2. In round 4, HRL had a correct guess while GBD did not. 35-23, HRL.
In round 5, HRL unsuccessfully doubled while GBD got most the answers right and stuck with that. In round 6, HRL recklessly doubled again but had 2 answers wrong while GBD had a successful double. 52-35 Group Blind Date.
Mathilda beat out Adventurers by a single point to take third!
Group Blind Date hung onto their tournament lead, winning the $100. Thank you and congratulations to all the participants. Don't forget that there's another tournament on the horizon: King Trivia's $10,000 Tournament of Champions!

The room was packed to capacity with players, and this quiz really divided up the teams. In round 6, four teams had all the answers right... but didn't double!
A successful double in round 5 turned out to be the clincher for HRL, especially since their rivals in Group Blind Date had an unsuccessful double in the same round.
