GBD, Goldfish, and Zzzzz kicked open the gates with successful doubles in the first round. Then B Team, GBD, Mathilda, and Zzzzz doubled in round 2. B Team and Zzzzz were able to double again in round 3, and so were Challah and Dude. It was getting intense!
The Goldfish were the only ones to successfully double in round 5, but they were sunk just out of the top 3 by a poor showing in rounds 2, 4, and 7.
Despite a poor showing in rounds 4 and 5, Zzzzz rode their doubles and decent scores in the final two rounds to take 3rd.
BGD rode their doubles and decent scores throughout to take 2nd.
Mathilda, though, rocked it with an 8-point Guess Who, a successful double in the final round, and good scores throughout to conquer 1st place for the night! Great job!

Tonight's quiz was certainly an interesting battle!
All the teams were pretty much neck-and-neck through the first four rounds. Unfortunately, Cali, Mathilda, and TO practically eliminated themselves with incorrect Guess Who answers while the other teams got the full 10 points!
GBD's lack of confidence in their round 5 and 6 answers cost them, especially when DWMB successfully doubled in round 6. S&N had a successful double in the final round to take 2nd while Oreo took the tie-breaker from GBD to steal 3rd.

Group Blind Date had successful doubles in rounds 2 and 3 and never looked back. Dude and Blue both had successful doubles in the final round to take 2nd and 3rd place.
The 3 Baristas had a shot at placing, but were the only ones with an incorrect Guess Who answer and failed to capitalize on a perfect score in round 6, leaving them just outside the top 3.
