The BOBs and Mathilda successfully doubled right out of the gate, but while the BOBs followed that up with another successful double, Mathilda failed their double in round 2. Geralt and the Cockatoos successfully doubled in round 2, though. Wolf had the only double in round 3.
Guess Who was almost a wash as all but 2 teams scored 4 points.
The BOBs stayed on top with a perfect score in round 6 added to their early doubles.
The Cockatoos rode their double and generally high scores to come in 2nd. Wolf took his double and generally high scores to come in 3rd, topping Geralt by just a single point.

The house was packed. The beer was flowing. The quiz was tough. The knowledge was... knowing?
Round 3 is where we saw our first doubles: five successful (BOBs, Hooligans, Quiz, Secret, and Tuesday) and one failed (Rodeo).
Secret was riding high with overall top scores plus the double, but ended up having to settle for 2nd place as the BOBs snuck in to steal it with a successful double in the final round. Tuesday and their double slid in for a solid 3rd place with a rather massive tie for 4th.
Maybe if two of Secret's players hadn't left early due to diarrhea...

A few regulars are back after the holiday break, and the battle was close enough to show it!
New Beer could have doubled in round 1 but didn't. They could've doubled in round 3 but didn't. Luckily, their successful double in round 6 plus those other perfect rounds were good enough to take them in for the win!
The Extremists and Mathilda had successful doubles in round 3 (so did Versus). While the Extremists Guessed Who incorrectly, they made up for it with a successful double in the final round. Mathilda could have doubled in round 6 (and are now kicking themselves for not doing so). It came down to guessing how many legs a skateboarding dog rode under to break the tie!
Versus was just slightly behind the top 3. GBD failed to double in rounds 3 and 7, keeping them out of the top 3 as well.
