RECAP

Hello boils & ghouls! It was a very frightening quiz tonight hosted by a Gnome (yes, I was a Gnome). The quiz was filled with twists & turns & tricks or treats. Many teams took shots in the dark (the scary kind of dark). Let's just say our teams killed it tonight! [Crypt Keeper laugh]

The game was tricky, but even more tricky because it was Halloween! How you may ask? Because it wasn't tricky at all! [Crypt Keeper laugh] which is tricky because teams would expect the Halloween Quiz to be tricky! [Crypt Keeper laugh] There were no failed doubles & only one team even attempted to double because the other teams must have been very afraid of this assumed trickiness of the Halloween quiz! [Crypt Keeper laugh]

Daniel S. Pumpkins rose from the grave by joining in the second round. They in their search for brains to eat, they stumble into 3rd & are now doomed to haunt the halls of 1739 Public House forevermore. [a ghost moans]

Bruce Jennertalia rode their brooms into 2nd & with another stellar performance are now doomed to live as immortal vampires who can never set foot in the sunlight & who can never quench their thirst for blood, also NO GARLIC! [a woman screams] [Crypt Keeper laugh]

Scary Dongz were fleeing from an axe murderer & got a huge head start on him with 2 successful doubles in a row! They turned out to actually axe murder him as well as the other teams! [axe chopping noises] [Crypt Keeper laugh] They take 1st & are the champions of the night! & from now on they are doomed to become champions any night there is a full moon. They must be careful to never bite a bullet though, especially if it's a silver one! [Crypt Keeper laugh]

RECAP

It was an aggressive game tonight as there may have been just as many failed doubles as successful ones. Tricky questions were littered throughout this game & were definitely the cause of that in this roller coaster of a game!

Ur a quizzard 'arry had a great showing starting the game off with a successful double & the only perfect score in round 4. Their other high scores help them stick the landing with a 3rd place finish, taking the bronze!

A classic duel between often rivals Bruce Jennertalia & Fear of Flying emerged tonight with them having identical scores in 5 of the rounds, including doubles in rounds 1 & 2. The difference came in the last round when Fear of Flying successfully doubled & snatched the win. Bruce Jennertalia takes the silver! & Fear of Flying takes the gold & are the champions of the night!

RECAP

Most teams realized that they should play more aggressive after several perfect round 1s. However, this, of course, led to countless failed doubles. It was a roller coaster of a game tonight & a champion emerged!

TREY DONGZ was one of the teams with a perfect 1st round, but they still keep the urge to double subdued as they don't double until the last round, which was a great call because almost half the teams had a successful double in round 7.

Bruce Jennertalia had an excellent game with 2 doubles (in the 1st & last round) & they would've easily sailed into 1st if it wasn't for the video game round (round 6) in which they had the lowest score other than failed doubles. After round 6, they fell into 4th, but then were able to climb back into 2nd with a double to end the game! This recovery was worth it as they take the silver!

Misplaced Confidence seemed to have a very emotional game as they start the game off with a perfect round, which encouraged a double in round 2 which was successful, which encouraged another double in round 3 which failed. They wouldn't double again until the last round, but had excellent scores in between. Their round 6 performance was key in securing 1st for them & that's where they passed their rivals. They finish there & take the gold, becoming the champions of the night!
