We had a rather conservative game tonight. There were 4 successful doubles in the 1st 3 rounds , but 3 of those were from the SAME TEAM! For the 1st time in my hosting career, I thought that maybe we would be in store for a perfect performance & it seemed that way until round 5.
The Presidential Approval Rating Is only doubled once, which saved them from an abysmal round 6. They do better than average in the other rounds & sail into 3rd, taking the bronze!
The Number of Homeless Dude Sean Has Blown Is also had a conservative showing with only one double. Their excellent performance in the 1st half was balanced by a mediocre performance in the 2nd half & they cruised into 2nd, taking the silver!
It's official! Bruce Jennertalia is back! They had a perfect game until round 5, doubling 3 times in a row! They came back to reality in the 2nd half, but the lead was already too great as they glide into 1st, taking the gold, & becoming the champions of the night!

RECAP
We had a very conservative game for the first half of the game with only 2 doubles attempted (both being successful), but the pace quickly changed in rounds 5 & 6 with 9 doubles attempted (6 of which were successful). The last half of the game contained many shakeups, but one team emerged victorious!
Super Harvard were locked into battle with Fear of Flying the entire game with both teams getting similar scores throughout the game, including doubles in round 5. Super Harvard almost blew it in round 7 by getting a lower score & allowing Fear of Flying to force a tie. Luckily, for Super Harvard, they take the tiebreaker & the bronze!
Cartographers for Social Equality had a quiet 1st half of the game & it seemed as if they were going to be left in the dust after scoring a -1 in round 4. However, round 5 would prove to be the beginning of a miraculous comeback with 2 doubles in a row! This catapulted them into 2nd, & with a great round 7, they take the silver!
Having A Blast Crisis retained the lead for the entire 1st half of the game, but then they missed the memo of doubling in round 5, putting them behind. It was of little consequence however as they immediately snatch back 1st with a successful double in round 6 & stay there to end the game. They take the gold & are the champions of the night!

The Number of Homeless Dudes Sean has Blown Is grabbed one of those doubles in the 1st 3 rounds & grabbed another in round 5. They also pulled off a perfect round in round 6, landing in 3rd & taking the bronze!
Fear of Flying followed the same game plan, also doubling in round 2 & 5. They then took it a step further with a successful double in round 7! This catapulted them into 2nd, taking the silver!
Bruce Jennertalia had another remarkable performance as they double 4 times, have a perfect round, & only miss one question in the entire game! With a magnificent score of 88, they take the gold & are the champions of the night!
