It came down to a tiebreaker tonight, but Wasted Seamen came out on top. Their tiebreaker answer seemed to have finally put a price on just how much that Wasted Seamen is worth. In the beer round we were looking for the best dad joke in the room and only one team's joke was so bad it was met with the proper groan worthy of a round of beer. Because price sounds like prints! (It's always funnier when you explain a bad joke.)

It's not always that you have trivia players frantically running out to their car during the drinking round, but when you announce the beer will be awarded to the team that can find the oldest coin they can, things get a little crazy. The winning coin was a penny from 1939 that even Nicolas Cage in National Treasure would be impressed by. Congrats to Super Harvard for uncovering the lucky penny and taking the prize!

It was an intense game...
But most of all, it was a HOT game of Wednesday Night trivia this week at 1739 Public House.
We congratulate It's Trivia Night? for standing strong against tough competition to take the win. Second place finishers Gryffind-Whores and Super Harvard were pretty impressive, as well.
But most impressive of all, perhaps, were the stalwart folks of Bruce Jennertalia, who climbed up a flight of stairs after every round to deliver their answer sheets in 100-plus degree heat!
