RECAP

The first half of the game was very conservative with only 2 successful doubles. Having a BlastCrisis was one team that took an aggressive approach, sadly this backfired as they unfortunately finish the game with 3 failed doubles.

Whimsical Hotel was the only team to get the full 10 points in round 4 & then built their score even more in round 6 with a successful double, putting them into 3rd out of nowhere! However, they did end the game with what could've been disastrous a failed double, but the space they created between themselves & the team behind them (Ken Griffey Sr) was enough as they still take the bronze!

The Number of Homes Dudes Sean Has Blown Is... stays steady on course with a patient game & carefully chooses their time to strike with a successful double in round 5. Even though 4 other teams also doubled that round, the solid score that they have been quietly building was enough to throw them into 2nd &, along with a perfect score in round 6, they stay there, taking the silver!

Fear of Flying took the lead with a successful double in round 2 & never looked back. They went on to get 2 more successful doubles in rounds 5 & 6 (the only team to get multiple doubles) & they finish the game with a jaw dropping score of 78! Taking the gold & becoming the champions of the night!

RECAP

Doubles were a plenty with 7 successful doubles in the first 2 rounds! This game also featured a very exciting round 7 with 3 teams failing on the double & 3 teams succeeding on it.

The Golden State Killers had a great showing despite getting a -1 in a tricky round 4, doubling 3 times (in round 2, 5, & 7)! Good enough for the bronze!

Fear of Flying not only had to recover from a -1 score in round 4, but also from a failed double in round 5. They never faltered & successfully doubled in the next 2 rounds for a grand total of 4 successful doubles! The aggressive play pays off & they take the silver!

Bruce Jennertalia didn't have a bad round or even an average round, all their scores were incredible! They double 3 times & take the gold! This is also the start of a 2 week winning streak!

The Number of Homeless Dudes Sean Has Blown Is... were a prime example of this phenomenon, getting a successful double in round 5 & a perfect score in round 6. They sail in at 3rd, taking the bronze!

Even better examples of this phenomenon lies with 2 teams, YESSS!! & Bruce Jenneralia, who both doubled twice in a row in rounds 5 & 6! YESSS!! gets one more correct answer in round 7, forcing the tie! Unfortunately, it would be in vain as YESSS!! falls in the tiebreaker taking the silver & Bruce Jenneralia is victorious! They take they gold & are the champions of the night!
