A lighter night but the right night here at 1739PH. Competition was in the air, much like the paper footballs created by our intrepid teams to fight for the right to a free round in the Bonus Round. Who came out on top? Why, none other than TNOHDSHBI, which was no surprise! The 3rd place tiebreaker was a tough break for Bruce Jennertailia who learned the hard way that a piece of 27-year old cake is not, in fact, worth $24 million dollars. If only!

Although it was a lighter night here at Public House for trivia, competition was fierce and friendly! Super Harvard lived up to their name and remained in the lead most of the night, finishing strong at the end and having one successful Double or Nothing round! The Number of Homeless Dudes Sean Has Blown Is..., Double Down Debutants, and Bruce Jennertalia were all neck and neck right vying for 2nd and 3rd places. In the end, both Bruce Jennertalia and Double Down Debutants pulled ahead to tie in Round 7, leading to a dramatic tiebreaker... and Bruce Jennertalia taking the silver!
In Drinking Bonus Round news, 7 of the teams participated in a tournament sudden-death-style series of Categories games. Each round was a new category and the first person to be unable to think of a thing in that category was out! In the end it was Super Harvard vs In Foles We Trust and Super Harvard pulled out the win for their free round! (I suspect it was this free round that fueled their clear path to victory after that.) Categories included: countries in Africa, banks, federal holidays, kinds of math, NFL teams, and shoe brands.
