The Pub at Golden Road is a full-service, family-friendly environment located just a stone’s throw from Griffith Park in Atwater Village. Open 7 days a week, The Pub offers ample indoor and outdoor seating, over a dozen Golden Road beers on tap, and games for the young (and young at heart).
Season 10 of League Play commenced this week for all King Trivia players, and our cadre of energized quizinators waster no time getting all competitive this week at Golden Road Brewery in beautiful Glendale.
A Possibility of Beer and Here Comes Treble - Class of '92 battled throughout the night and, when the dust settled, shared identical scores of 80 points apiece! Impressive! APoB settled the contest in the tie-breakers, and the good folks of Garbagetown completed our top-three trio with a very strong 76 points - a score that might have been good enough to win it all on other nights.
Having won the drinking round, the Garbagetown crew felt pretty good about their fortunes it seemed - as did all who came to eat, drink and quiz on the sideyard patio.

Take a look at the smiling faces of the team pictured in photo #1 above. That group of happy quizzers use some variation of the name "Brad" in their team name every week. This week, it was the difficult-to-pronounce "Abra-ka-BRAD-ra." And in an impressive feat of prestidigitation, they rode that moniker to the win this week at Golden Road Brewery in Glendale, scoring an impressive 92 points! Well done, Brad-sters.

A big crowd of enthusiastic quizzers filled the sideyard patio with passion and intensity this week at Golden Road Brewery in Glendale.
Fartin' Scorsese won the night going way with an incredible score of 94! But out second place team added a special sheen to their 80-point finish by turning the night into a birthday celebration for one of their own, Danny! In fact, their team name announced that it was his birthday, though that's pretty much all the info we got.
When asked how old he was, if he was a native Californian and what his last name is, "Danny" declined to answer.
"There are people looking for me right now," he said. "My life could be in danger if certain people knew I was here. I'm trying to keep a low profile. Don't take my picture!"
I'm not gonna tell you which photo Danny is in, in the collection from this week's show. But he's there, and he doesn't want you to know it!
